Inspired by the London Underground and the abstract art that remains after billboards are removed. Mixed media was used for the creation of this piece including plaster, hand-processed paints made from sand, charcoal, buddleia, blackberries, and mugwort flowers, as well as oil pastels. A scrap piece of MDF board was painted and distressed with metal instruments and finished with rusty scrap metal found on the Thames riverbanks.
